Timothy Lyon Bio

Born and raised in Michigan, my parents were farmers. My Dad also loved to play steel guitar with his band on weekends. I am the oldest, then one sister was born, followed by five brothers. It wasn't anything glamourous or rich, but it taught me humility and to not look down on people less fortunate than myself.

I enlisted in the U.S. Air Force at 17 and went in a couple of weeks after turning 18. I served for 17 years and finished as a Technical Instructor stationed at RAF Lakenheath Air Base, U.K. and retired in 1995. Because of the intensive depth of training and education I received the service, I became an Electrician and rose up through the ranks relatively quickly. I never failed to use my teaching credentials to help train the operators how to properly run the machines more efficiently. Other employers used my skills to run and design projects to improve the efficiency of the plant or upgrade the monitoring systems.

I finished up becoming an Instrument Technician for my final employer, and designed, built, installed, and commissioned about 30 plus systems to monitor various gases, along with other duties assumed during Covid 19 and other issues we ran into during that time.

Finally, I had figured that I had done enough for my last employer, and that it was time for me to strike out on my own. I had always wanted to own my own business but didn't know what I wanted to do. Then, in 2023, I had a stroke at work in my shipping container office. My left side carotid artery was found to be 95% blocked. Fortunately, I survived and had a renewal of my faith.

It was chosen for me to teach construction equipment and safety classes, as a down payment for all the blessings bestowed upon me during my lifetime. I've always been a good Dad, stern at times, but friendly and approachable. My kids are really my friends now, and they have their own problems to deal with. It's been chosen for me to teach and help the kids and young adults that will never be able to repay me. That's my Mission Statement.
